How to use the ScanGov tasklist to prioritize fixes.

Every site has a tasklist — a prioritized list of the standards it currently fails, sorted so the most frequently occurring issues surface first.

Filtering by indicator

Use the tabs at the top of the tasklist to filter by indicator (Botability, Accessibility, Usability, Security), or view "All" to see everything at once.

Getting issue details

Click Get issue on any task to open a pre-populated report with:

• The standard that's failing and how often it was detected
• What's expected, and why it matters
• Reference links to the standard and related guidance

Click the copy button in the report to copy all of this to your clipboard — ready to paste into a ticket for your team or vendor.

What counts toward a task

Sitewide issues (like a missing sitemap or security.txt file) are flagged once per domain, not once per page. Everything else is counted by how many pages it affects.
