2025 Government Experience Awards

ScanGov will again provide essential data support for e.Republic’s Center for Digital Government 2025 Government Experience Awards, contributing critical quantitative metrics to the judging process.

After supporting the 2024 GovX Awards, ScanGov will expand its role in 2025 by performing comprehensive, sitewide scans of award finalists. These scans evaluate key government digital experience indicators of digital experiences, measuring each against public policy standards, established web protocols, guidelines, and industry best practices.

Indicators:

  • AI-friendly
  • Accessibility
  • Content
  • Domain
  • Performance
  • Search engine optimization
  • Security
  • Social media

GovX showcases “the latest trends, best practices and ideas around the evolving experience of government and recognizes the states, cities and counties at the forefront of the government experience movement.”

Teri Takai, Chief Program Officer for the Center for Digital Government, said, “The Government Experience Awards celebrate innovation that directly impacts how the public engages with government. By incorporating ScanGov’s expanded data capabilities into our evaluation process, we’re deepening our understanding of what defines a leading digital government experience—from accessibility to laying the foundation for AI, this layer of insight is invaluable in identifying the jurisdictions setting the gold standard for service delivery.”

Awards call for entries are now open. Deadline for submissions is May 8, 2025. A virtual awards event will be held September 25, 2025.
